worst contract in the NBA possibly
Our team pays Solomon Hill $12.5 mill. Hayward, even at his current production would be the best wing we've had in years.
Brown is a good defender and solid shooter (though his percentage is down this year)
Plus three first round picks. Three. One of them could be conveyed in 2020 or 2021 due to MEM tanking and could become a huge asset.
Obviously, you demand Tatum but Boston has so much to play with that they may not have to.

He's not going to the Lakers. You guys are wasting your time.
Sixers, Celtics, or Knicks are the only three ways this plays out.

Or #2 and someone other than Zion goes #1

I am beyond petrified that Demps will trade our 2019 pick still in a futile effort to keep AD here.

Everyone on this board is going to be REALLY disappointed in the outcome of this trade if half of the Lakers roster and a 1st rounder is considered a meh trade
That’s honestly probably way way better than what’s actually going to end up happening
Hope springs eternal on here tho. Not sure why really, but it does

That shouldn't be your worry anymore. Your worry should be that he won't get any value for Randle or Moore. Or he won't take on a Mahinmi for an extra first, etc

In an ideal world, you're right, it shouldn't be my worry.

You will be wrong. Per usual

If I am demps and Lakers call I simply say Id rather lose him for nothing than send him to your bum team. No way I could let Davis and his agent push me around like that.

That would be foolish.
You also want to keep the Lakers thinking they have a chance so Boston has another team to bid against.

Every trade offer I would send to Lakers would have Lebron in return. I'd do that just to troll them.

I'm with you. I'd make him wait out the remaining contract and leave. It isn't like anything the Pelicans do will drastically improve the franchise. Make him suffer and then continue on sucking as usual.

its funny to see people complain about acquiring as many picks as possible. If you guys think that we make a trade and in return we get a superstar and a couple of role players you will be very disappointed. That is why Boston makes the most since. Get some decent players and acquire the most important assets (draft picks) to bring in the talent and build a solid core from there.

I mean what’s the point? Loomis is still PoBO, Dell is still GM, Al is still coach and none of that is changing. Who cares what compensation is given it’ll be wasted.

Its foolish to think Lakers have no shot at getting him at the moment. Lebron and his turds have been guiding this ship since last summer. This is a perfectly planned plot to get him to LA. Sorry I just wouldnt want to be their puppet. Maybe I worried it a little too direct but wouldnt happen.

Gordon Hayward is paid $31M per year. He will make almost $33M next year and over $34M the year after that. For Gordon Hayward.
If Gordon Hayward is included in the trade, frick firing the GM, he should be publicly beaten to death.

The Lakers will have to walk a fine line to avoid collusion and they just don't have the type of assets needed for this kind of trade.

Did you miss the 3 first round picks part or something?
