Scott Kushner Scott Kushner @ScottDKushner AD also said the “outside noise” doesn’t bother him at all and included “twitter rants”, right before separately staring down @WillGuillory and myself.

Screw AD! Blame Klutch for leaking BS not Kush and Guillory for taking up for the Pels.

It's clear that he doesn't think he or his people did anything wrong.

The immediate response to him asking for a trade was "I don't blame him" but everything he did after was a slap in the face to the organization and the fans. It's OK to want out, it shouldn't be OK to try to decrease your value around the league and limit the return your team gets. frick him

It's really interesting that he acts like this even with his father in his life. This some single mother parenting shite right here.

It basically says to me he has an entitled mindset with no respect for the fans or community that aren’t automatically groveling at his feet.

The professional thing to do would simply be to say Im honoring the contract and the requirements of the league in whatever fashion coach sees fit and I empathize with the fans that only want what is best for the team.

He is being coached up by Rich Paul and LeBron methinks.

He’s undergoing the type of “heel turn” that KD underwent. It’s not a good color on him because I don’t think that’s really who he is (not that I know him personally or anything).

Plus players almost always have a sense of entitlement with the amount of money they make and how much is handed to them.

Wasn't AD recent voted the most selfless superstar in the NBA or something?

Which is why people suspect he is being fed what to say.

It's out of character

That doesn’t sound like the AD we know. We could barely get him to speak up to motivate his team. Now, he wants to speak out against the media and act entitled. Sounds a lot like LeBron and Klutch to me.

Yes I think he was.

Klutch better watch out before they get black balled out of the league. You keep turning players against teams and sooner or later no team will want to deal with you. Right now you have LeBron and his talents let you get away with that. However, they’re aren’t to many LeBrons and the other guys you sign won’t be good enough to get away from this mess.

I do think he is legitimately hurt by the booing and the fan backlash. He knows he brought upon himself so he’s stuck in the middle. He can outright bash his agent to the media. That is bad form because he knows that agent at least as to get him to his next deal or through this ordeal. So, now, as uncomfortable as it is, he has to double down and take the hits.

I do wonder if he’ll reneg on his regret comments in the future. Willing to bet he will. He has left a lot burning in his wake and he’s not the type of guy that wants to do that sort of thing. He’s always been incredibly professional.

Hes subconsciously loving the hate, makes it easier for him to feel good about himself and how he chose to go about this in hindsight. Hes still just a kid at the end of the day.

Makes it easier to say "well fk this city and team, after all that, they are hating"; while absolutely ignoring why.

I mean if he thinks this is bad, wait until the Lakers game on the 23rd. It's gonna get real.
