You guys need to ignore children like Alyson and GHAZI. They only frick up a board if you let them. GHAZI's act is beyond stale. And Alyson (whoever's alter that may be) isn't even starting out with a good act.

Ben Wallace was the best player on that Pistons team.

what is inaccurate about anything I posted in this thread? are you people even watching the games? how in the world can you defend the way Paul is playing? the concern is legit. he is not the player that he used to be.

The concern is legitimate. Many people have commented on CP's lack of a "killer instinct" in the fourth quarter/down the stretch so far this season.
That being said, to say his "career as a top player, blah blah blah" is a big, big stretch. He leads the league in PER for christs sake.

Because you sound and is as worse as the posters when the saints lost games when they were talking about Brees how he's "never gonna be the same" and he's "garbage" and what not... Teams have rough patches, but its the teams that pull through those horrible times and get back on track which shows who's the good ones...

yea but the difference is that Chris Paul has been an injury prone scrub over the last year and Drew Brees led his team to the Super Bowl. Brees also has never once blatantly obviously QUIT on his team like Chris Paul has in the past (most noticeably the Nuggets playoff series)

Paul has been an injury prone scrub for nearly a year now! the fact that he can't stay healthy is the main reason the team sucked last year, and then he jumped ship wanting to be traded. Paul needs to first worry about staying healthy and performing like a star again before running his mouth. so far this season he's not even a top 5 point guard in the NBA.

Do you gonna act like Kobe didn't do the same thing with the lakers? forced them to show there hand? (same thing the hornets did)

and having to rely on David West to score is even worse. West is a good player, but a 3rd scoring option at best. He is basically a poor mans Dirk

Chris had been leading the league in PER,AC.This year. His knee is the issue, wait for it to come to light. The offense suffers the same way it did 2 years ago.Hornets need consistent players to create their own offense. For guards, the only one beside CP3 on the roster who can do it on a regular basis, is you know who.For big men, it's players who go to the line and rebound, particularly on the offensive end.West is a good FT shooter and should try to get to the line more.He also should play closer to the basket in order to hit the glass.A team needs a banger-style 4 if the wings are spot-up shooters.

Truth be told I think Paul's career as a top player in the NBA is done. For anyone who has watched him play from day one can see that he simply just doesn't have it anymore
Nevermind the fact that everyone was saying he was the league's most valuable player through the 1st month before tonight.
HILARIOUS!!!

See, you would have a legitimate point if you didn't come up with dumb statements like this one. Paul has had some issues, but give me a break.

Actually, he and the whole team threw in the towel. It was embarrassing.
