They can't have AD; I think we have the peices to help each other. Mirotic for Brown/Morris seems fair.

Brown is 5 years younger than Mirotic, makes half of what Mirotic earns, has 2 more years on his current deal (Mirotic is a FA after this season), and is a two-way player. There is no way Boston would deal Brown for a Mirotic rental.

We won't get Brown, Tatum or Irving without AD going to Boston. There is no combo of players where we can keep AD and get one of those guys.

Mirotic, 1st and a player (hopefully Solo) for Hayward & Smart would be more of what I would be looking at. I have no ideas if salaries work out, just musing from an uneducated view.

Your proposed trade is missing about ~$10 millions outgoing from Pels to be completed (so add something like Johnson, Miller and Diallo).

I laughed at first at that proposal, but Hayward earns $31M this year... 31!

tempting to shed a ton of salary for Boston...
But of course Ainge wont do it

Mirotic/Solo/Wesley/1st for Hayward/Morris gets the C's out of the tax this year, and saves them almost $20m for next year. They have to give Kyrie $20m more next year, and Horford is going to want a new contract.

Hayward hasn't looked himself, and something that's been talked about a lot about the celtics is they have too many guys that need the ball to be effective. They are basically paying Hayward $31M to sit in the corner and hit 3's while Kyrie and Tatum handle the majority of the offensive load, with Horford playing his usual point Center as well.

Only player available from Boston is Hayward.

Now if AD is available the entire roster is available.

Given how slowly Hayward has come back and his contract, I am not sure I would give up much for him.

He has come back slowly i agree, but it took PG over a year to get back to his self. Seems to be taking Hayward a bit more as he still looks a bit slower than his pre injury self.
As i pointed out as well, Hayward has taken a huge step back in terms of what he brings to a team offensively b/c of the teammates around him. Even if he was fully back to form, they aren't taking the ball out of Kyrie's hands, or Tatum's, or even Horfords to let Hayward do his thing. he's basically Grizzlies Chandler Parsons for them right now, but likely has the ability to be all star Hayward on another team when he gets his quickness back.
