2nd year under Gentry's system

Last year I was blasted when I came out saying that we didn't have the core group of players to run Gentry's offensive system, and we would struggle on defense getting back.
Well after 1 year and a slight roster overhaul, do you see us being able to be more effective with the run first offense?

How about the "Get the ball to Anthony Davis" offense? Haven't seen that ran effectively since he's been here.

We need to pass first to set up the run and if the line doesn't block its a moot point anyway.

it's drew's last couple of years, i'd hope they take some pressure off him and teach the line to run block, but we will see. until the defense improves it would be best to shorten the game a bit and eat clock. time of possession and 3rd down efficiency will be key

The OP does bring up an interesting question. I do believe Gentry's system could never really work effectively with the roster we had last season. This new roster, even if less talented in some spots, is more suited to Gentry's game. With decent luck with injuries, I think we're likely to see more wins.
