I agree. Plus, they’re in the East and they’ll have an easier chance to win and gain ground. I really think it could be a two horse race between the Rockets and Lakers

They are the worst team in the NBA... and it is beautiful.

The Magic are actually good tbh.

Lately they have either been winning games or almost winning games without Banchero, Cole Anthony, Fultz, Isaac, and probably more

I watch a lot of Magic games. Their jumbo size lineup and overall depth gives people issues. If they ever get healthy, they could sneak into an East play in spot.

Agreed. Banxhero and Franz are a great young duo. Wendell Carter has been playing well also. Suggs is 50/50.

It's just like when he played here. His stat line was great, 24/14/3/2/3. His shooting numbers were ok and he's played good defense this year. Still top 15 in PER. Yet team loses, cause he's not a winner. Some guys just don't impact the game that way for whatever reason..

Lakers boards are lit I think they are finally coming to the reality their season is shite now after losing to sac town. They hate AD. Just wait until the two stars start sitting more as the season goes. Most them said what I said in that they won’t win 20 games

It’s flappening.

Zion and AD. If the NBA was truely interested in rigging the lottery we damn sure dont get Zion at a 6% chance

Too bad Pels didn’t beat Lakers, they would be sitting with just one win. Kinda funny, the Saints are in a similar situation as the Lakers, where the other team (Eagles) will get a high first round pick.

Too bad or just what the Basketball Gods wanted to happen?

The Pels have won the #1 pick twice in the last decade or so and weren't the worst team in the league either time. Each time they got "unnecessary" wins the prior season that fans melted over because it cost them ping pong balls.

It's not about having the most ping pong balls, it's about having the right ping pong balls.

There’s almost no doubt we get a top 10 pick. Probably a guaranteed top 8 pick at this rate.

Cade Cunningham out for at least a week so if the Lakers lose at home to the Pistons coming off a 4 day layoff they should call it quits.

Yeah if lakers lose that game, they may just consider blowing it all up.

This is a little bit silly, but it's more piling on the Lakers with a dash of Pels > Lakers so why not.

Tom Ziller @teamziller

I love that the NBA has multiple arenas named after crypto exchanges yet when the Pelicans cut a deal with Smoothie King the league mandated an 8-month smoothie testing process to make sure they didn't have banned substances.

Testing glorified milk shakes for creatine >>> making sure the volatile currency exchange isn't run by a basic scammer

All three NBA arenas in California are named for companies in the finance space, and one is clearly superior from an ethical standpoint.

What's more fraudulent, the Lakers' arena naming rights partner or the Rob Pelinka administration?

Ethical NBA arena naming partners:
* Pelicans: smoothies
* Nuggets: mason jars
* Suns: sustainable packaging
* Kings: credit union
* Pistons: pizza
* Knicks: midtown Manhattan
