sacto is 2 games worse with 4 to play. They play GSW tonight. If by some miracle they beat the warriors we should throw the game against them on 4/5.
I think that the Lakers are almost locking into the 8th position now. I think that 7th is just as likely as 9th.

so the Lakers lost today... the Pels can clinch their play-in spot today

Assuming we get their pick this season, what is left from the AD trade in the future?

We still have a pick swap option in 2023 and their first in either 2024 or 2025 depending on which we prefer.

2023 pick swap
2024 1st rounder with the right to defer to 2025 if Pelicans choose
2024 1st rounder with the right to defer to 2025 if Pelicans choose

It's so delicious how much power we have over the Laker future

Knicks rolling to a win tonight over the magic. When the lakers lose tomorrow at the suns the knicks record will officially be out of reach for the lakers.

If the Spurs win tonight the Lakers are closer to #7 than #9

Spurs May lose tonight—-looks like no Murray
And I’m not mad at it. Gives us a bit of breathing room to secure the 9

Murray didn't play last game and they won by 20. They're fricking around.

Spurs still should win - they are down by 6 right now but still -7 on the live line.

Suns resting stars tonight vs OKC so they’ll be ready to go in dry on the Lakers on Tuesday

quote:except then it gives lakers some hope to make the play in.. spurs can easily lose out after tonight and lakers who play the thunder (easy win) will only need to take one win from either Denver, Warriors , suns
And I’m not mad at it. Gives us a bit of breathing room to secure the 9

If the spurs don’t win tonight we will probably end up needing to go 4-0 against the lakers this year.
