Lakers made a run and were only down 6 and he said basically “guess the pels playoff and lottery hopes are dead sons”

I will say tho the lakers are playing harder and better offensively the last few games. Hopefully that dies down soon

It’s going to be a close finish. I think San Antonio will make things interesting.

Philly sleepwalked through that whole game. Not one player looked like they wanted to play basketball tonight. One of the most emotionless games i've watched in a while.

Spurs are now 2 games back of the Lakers. It's a shame we need to drop an L on them this week.

I would punt the game for the Lakers pick.

Crazy as it sounds, Spurs could possibly catch the Lakers. If Pop wants to bother winning, they have 2 games left with Portland, both at home, which are automatic wins. Not sure the Lakers have any automatic wins from here on and if Spurs/Lakers end up in a tie, I'm almost positive Spurs will win the tie-breaker & knock Lakers out of play-in.

And I believe lottery tiebreakers come down to a coin flip.

So if the Lakers and Knicks/Spurs happen to end up in the 10/11 spot we'd have to wait a month+ after the season, sweat out a coin flip, then sweat out the lottery.

We need these teams to be a game clear of the Lakers.

I am prioritizing the pick, I'm just losing faith in the Wizards and Knicks. We might need both the Pels and Spurs to pass the Lakers to knock them down to 10. So we can't drop too many either.

Don’t see the wizards or the spurs doing enough to pass the lakers tbh.

It’s getting to the point where there’s not much room for error or bad losses at least

I think the Knicks have best shot at beating out the Lakers. I have little doubt Pels will end up 9th so it gets down to whether Knicks or EVEN Spurs (if they want to) can edge out the Lakers.

LeBron WILL win the scoring title. It is obviously a MAJOR goal for him this year & he MUST play in at least 4 of his remaining 9 games to qualify. Once he gets his 4 games in...& has built up a bit of a cushion over Embiid (forget the Freek in this race) he'll sit out & maybe play in one or two extra games right at the end, if Embiid makes it necessary, which is highly doubtful since the 76ers are serious contenders & will wish to give Embiid as much rest as they can, down the stretch.

Lakers coming off 3 days off. Lebron with 6 days between games. Us on the second night of a b2b.

Spurs will also be coming off 2 nights off vs us the night before.

I feel like that Lakers are playing a lot better as of late especially on Offense. I hate to say it but that's what it appears to me.

And schedule makers kind of fricked us.

Yeah nice of them to give the Lakers 4 days off before playing us on the second game of a B2B.

Definitely feels like teams like the Lakers and several other big market teams always seem to end up with the best flows to their schedules. While we always seem to have these brutal early season schedules and then even when the schedule projects to get easier, we end up in a bunch of B2B's and extended road trips and such. Rarely do we get to catch other teams against us in that situation, unless it's mutual
