I'll be honest and say I just glanced at the Max Kleber stat line a few days ago and just remembered his year 1 stats. Not sure I even saw last year.

Lopez is probably the right Buck to target to wrest him away from them.

They don’t have his Bird rights, so they are still somewhat limited in what they can offer him unless they pay someone to take Ersan off their hands and clear another $7m.

I don’t see the Lakers being in play for him simply because they are far more likely to go after a guard.

They have three players worth a shite under contract right now and all three are forwards, with Davis capable of playing the 5.

Getting Lopez may make Davis happy that it limits his minutes at the 5 but it doesn’t solve the problem of starters at the point or 2 and it converts Kuzma from being a cheap starter to cheap bench depth.

Oh I agree but just mentioned them due to the rumors of their interest.

Just thought about Jeremy Lin. Really like him as a culture guy, that he'd be an obvious backup to Lonzo, & that his game is very different than Lonzo's.

Obviously I'd like Dewayne Dedmon, but I wouldn't be mad at a Maxi Kleber/JaMychal Green type

Rudy Gay (or DeMarre Carroll) is the other guy I really want. Either guy would be first off the bench, backs up both forward positions behind Zion & BI allowing you to go big or small. Both are solid locker room guys & still a very effective players on the court.

Jeremy Lin + Rudy Gay + Dewayne Dedmon with $30 mil in cap space is pretty realistic imo

The Nets are exploring the feasibility of signing Kevin Durant's close friend DeAndre Jordan in free agency, league sources say, in hopes that would make the prospect of teaming up in Brooklyn with Kyrie Irving even more enticing to Durant

The talk of KD being upset with the Warriors wouldn't be shocking as it is KD we are talking about.

It would follow with them coming out with the whole we'll max him and then trade him. He doesn't want that is my guess seeing as it would screw over the team he'd be going to although it would give him much more money.

I don't think KD is entirely about the money. I think he is different from LeBron. KD's legacy is everything to him. LeBron cares but not as much as you'd think which is why he lacks a killer instinct at times.

In the end, it wouldn't surprise me to see KD and Kyrie both end up in NYC. They could have KD sit out the year, and at worst get a lottery pick next year to either pick up a top tier rookie or trade it for a veteran. Who knows. That is the best way for the Knicks to be real contenders in a quick turn around.

Pels nearly got Lin in 2016 but he decided to go to BKN

He didn't look good in Toronto but was solid in Atlanta

Think you could get him at a very reasonable deal

The Knicks, of course, hung onto DeAndre Jordan after acquiring him from Dallas in the Porzingis blockbuster in February and have shown interest in re-signing Jordan depending on how the roster shakes out -- interest that naturally rises if Durant chooses Madison Square Garden

Absolutely. If I'm Durant or Kyrie, there's no chance I'm going to play for James Dolan.

Yep, and the history of the NBA is filled with scenarios like this.

The nets are like the perfect scenario because they actually have quality depth

Dinwiddie
Harris
Levert
Allen
Prince
Kurucs

Plus guys like Hands/Claxton to develop and whatever ring chasers they add

If we could get Harris for a 2nd, we should done that immediately. Also, if they try to dump Dinwiddie to keep both Russell and Irving, we should be waiting with open arms as well.

I was just goofing off on TradeNBA, and their cap numbers are way the hell off. They have the Pels at $47 million under the cap. How are they that far off?

Yep dinwiddie has a PO in 21 and is making ~11 mil a year

Him/Brook and someone like dudley would be perfect

Nets related but Vegas is confident
