Same for me. My mother made me go see Neil Diamond several times. Barry Manilow and Julio Iglesias as well.
Then she took me to see Foreigner and Billy Squire for the Foreigner 4 tour at the Summit.

One of my biggest regrets in life: not keeping my ticket stubs.
That’s a Google search stub, but I feel like it’s mine cuz I posted it here several time.
I always saved my tickets stubs was pretty good with saving stuff like that. Although I have no idea where they are now

The first one I recall seeing is with my parents two months after I graduated from high school, we took a Vegas vacation and the 'rents wanted to see Wayne Newton. 26-27 years ago I don't remember anything (thanks booze). I think I recall liking it but I can tell you my last concert was pre- fake covid seeing Ludacris in Marksville

ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd and J Geils Band at Tulane Stadium in July 1976. Lynyrd Skynyrd didn't show up. Riot ensued. I was 14. Can't believe my parents let me go to that.

My parents wouldn't let me go. Wasn't that the Day of Rock and Roll concert?

No, this was a few years before the Day of Rock & Roll concerts started. The Day of Rock and Roll concerts were at the Superdome.
