Dre

I'm not a huge rap fan though, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

Favorites are RZA and Organized Noize because those are my 2 favorite groups of all time and both were before their time with what they brought to the game.

Have many other favorites but will only list a few

Kanye-the guy's a genius
EL-P-completely different style but his beats are just as(if not more) intricate as Kanye's.
9th Wonder
Dre
Salaam Remi-his work for Nas is great
4th Disciple-RZA's protege
Scram Jones
Alchemist
Dilla
Neptunes-not all of course but when they wanted to be great, they were. Clipse-Grindin=classic beat
Just Blaze-Jay Z's "You Don't Know" is my favorite beat of all time. Imo every rapper should go in on that beat at some point in their career. His catalouge is tremendous.
Blue Sky/Black Death(I think)

Motherfricking this, and he is way ahead, although I find his style can be a bit predictable, he is still a badass producer.

I forgot about El-P. His work on Killer Mike's album this year was great!
