Lollapalooza 96’ was my first concert. The energy Rage had on stage was unreal!! I’ve never seen a crowd like that and I’ve been to so many concerts I’ve lost count.

ZZ Tops opening for the Allman Brothers at the Warehouse in Nola...about 1971...the best venue in this country bar none.

Alice Cooper - 1979
Queen - 1980
Rainbow - 1978
Eagles - 1980

So many more, we were so lucky.........

1. Tool in the Rockets’ arena 2019, right before the world turned to shite and they brought the house down.
2. Foo Fighters Jazz Fest 2012(?) and Galactic opened for them. Met Kermit Ruffins the night before after his show at Rock n Bowl
3. 311 / No Doubt Voodoo 2002 - before both bands and the festival sucked balls. Incredible show and I saw a hot naked chick with faded body paint getting it from behind while No Doubt played “I’m just a Girl” 18 year old me will never forget

1981 Memphis in May; the Saturday shows:
Afternoon show: James Cotton (greatest blues harmonica player ever) opening for the Allman Bros. This one of their very last shows before the 11 year break. They did 4 encores, 2 with James Cotton.
The night show: The Michael Stanley Band opening for Marshall Tucker (before Toy died). MT should retire “Can’t You See” bc no one can sing it like Toy.
Every show on Beale Street in Memphis before they cleaned the place up; they ruined the place.
GNR/Soundgarden in 90 something in Phoenix (Compton Terrace). Usual Axl wait fest but a good show.
Iron Maiden/Point Blank/38 Special & Maiden opens the show on The Number of the Beast tour. I virtually knew nothing about them prior to the show and left a big fan.

I was there. Being in ‘the pit’ for Rage was the only time I’ve been concerned for my safety at a concert. Am unreal experience.

I was in that pit. That was the last pit I was ever in. I had a friend who just happened to be a Fullback for Louisiana Tech who was just laying people out all over that pit. It was brutality & probably the best single live performance I have ever seen. That day was incredible.
