Nah. He blazed through more pussy and actually probably beat more arse than any of you put together.

Of course, he was a deeply damaged person from his early life and he had the courage to face up to it later in life and not pretend things were just fine.

I'm no Yoko apologist, but I certainly do not begrudge a man who conquered the entire world finding his soul mate and leaning in. For one thing, she absolutely saved his arse from a business standpoint.

Again, your "pathetic beta male", was absolutely buried under an avalanche of pussy for YEARS. And he did not shy way from it.

He could’ve had literally anyone he wanted, literally, and he picked Yoko.

Literally, any woman on the planet.
He DID have anyone for YEARS. Just because you've never lived it, doesn't mean that fills every hole in your soul. He did live it and he found out how ultimately hollow it was.

Yoko was essentially the first woman who ever actually challenged him and called him on his bullshite.

She's not my cup of tea, but it seems crazy to hate on her so much. If you get deep at all into the history, it's also unreasonable to have the facile opinion "she broke up the Beatles". It's really just not true.

I mean, it was Yoko's idea that this happen. He didn't "leave her". More like he was "sent away".

You imagine his fame and the options he had…is it really that hard to believe a guy THAT famous found love with an incredibly weird, not especially sexy, Asian woman?

The fact no other man understands why he chose Yoko is the EXACT reason he chose her. He needed something no ordinary man wants.
Thank you.

Happy B Day Yoko.

Many may not like her, but she's perhaps the most important and polarizing muse in rock history.

This is an objectively retarded take. Please explain it.

No one gives a shite about her appearance. He could love whomever he want.

What sucks is that hewas at the pinnacle of a musical revolution and chose Yoko to hand his public legacy and life to. She’s an untalented hack Lennon forced into the public consciousness repeatedly. Worse he allowed her to believe she was creatively gifted and important. He’s dead and she’s what remains of his contributions to music.

Please list the women that had more songs written about them.

The more I read up on Yoko and John's relationship, the more I respect her and what she meant to John.

Yes. The first guy jumped the gun by a few days.

But really it should be a week long celebration.

Well, this is simply not true. They lived through a huge amount of savage racism directed at their coupling. Also, LOTS of appearance shaming. Not sure if you actually seriously typed that.

I mean, modern art isn't my thing, but she had her own career going and is actually fairly respected in that realm.

I'm just not sure what you are trying to say. Lennon is my favorite musician of all time and I almost literally never think about Yoko when luxuriating in his output.

Just ask Hugh Grant. That's even more mind boggling.

That is a really good album. I was painting my kitchen a couple of days ago and put that one on.

I just watched that Toronto Revival ‘69 documentary again. Not really about her specifically but her performance that night was interesting.

I get the feeling the crowd absolutely loved every performer that day except her. Also that she was a widely decorated artist. Of course, art is subjective with her music side mostly not well received. Not sure about the other side.
