Why is today’s mainstream music so cuckold?

Every time I hear that “Say you won’t let go” song, I want to throw up in my mouth. Not only in mainstream pop but country is full of pussies that write worship women songs. When Ed Sheeran is the biggest rock star on the planet, we have a problem. Why are Imagine Dragons even a thing? That shite is terrible.
It’s completely pathetic and pathetic wonder if there’s a such thing and masculinity in music anymore.

I think a lot of it has to do with commercialization. As time goes on we seem to try and squeeze every last penny out of everything. This isn't the best approach with music. It breeds fads and gimmicky stuff rather than timeless classic tunes. The good stuff will always win in the long run though.

Stop listening to pop on the radio. There is a ton of good new music out there. You just need to be a music fan and follow the right artists instead of taking what is offered to teenage girls

My generation had bands like Fleetwood Mac, Chicago, The Eagles and Journey on the radio routinely. No one will be listening to Shape of You or anything by Taylor Swift in 20-30 years.
