I’m sorry. I was aware this board was full of music elitists but that’s the best word I can use to describe the lyrics of today’s songs. It’s absolutely pathetic.
“I’ll make you breakfast in bed, and take the kids to school. You just relax all day. I’ll do everything for you. Say you won’t let go”
Another hit “Please have mercy on me. I’m a puppy on your string. And even though you have good intentions. Something about having mercy”
Those aren’t the exact lyrics but it’s all I care to try to think of at the moment. Country songs are just as pathetic. It’s garbage and it sets a false principle for how women expect to be treated. All these douches singing songs about worshipping them is just ridiculous.
