Why Haven't Any Asian Artists Made It Big In The USA?

I enjoy watching cover versions of songs to see if anyone can put a new twist on an old song. And invariably I'll stumble across people from Asian counties doing outstanding covers with impeccable American diction, golden voices and fine instrumentation. They're clearly as passionate as anyone from England ever was, yet I can't think of anyone Asian who's ever made more than a blip on the American charts.
I'm curious if anyone has a theory why?

Have you not heard of k-pop? BTS is the new Nsync or Backstreet Boys.

Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs was born in S. Korea to a Korean mother (Polish father, thus the O for Orzolek).

BLACKPINK headlined Coachella this year and was at the top of the bill in 2019.

BTS is huge in the U.S, so is Blackpink. Psy's Gangnam Style was a gigantic hit here. Babymetal is pretty popular.

Because a big part of making it big in the US is sex appeal, and women find Asian males about as sexy as they do red-haired guys.
