Why does the internet hate The Doors so much?

I get that they’re not the best and overrated by 16 year olds who just smoked their first J, but I don’t get the hate.

That's Steve Miller band, I think.
I don't know man, I think they get huge respect for that time period, like a spot or two after Stones/Zep/Beatles.

Doors are like hendrix they don’t make bland music like kiss/ AC/DC. Kind of hard to appreciate what they did. I’m a big fan but I can understand some of the dislike

I've always liked The Doors. Their studio albums were good, but their live stuff is incredible. You never knew what Morrison would do in a live show.

They're for some people. I like their music.

I had all of their albums, but their "Absolutely Live" is a must have for those who enjoy live albums.

Don't have to look far on the Internet to find bad spellers and BS opinions. All the Doors did was make a helluva lot of great songs with one of the most distinctive voices in rock history. Who cares what David Crosby says anyway?
