The one "country" station here in Yuma plays this new shite. Im lucky I found an AM station that plays 70-90's Country Music.

This is country music:

Black top in the pouring rain
Will I ever see your face again
Pit stop in Alabam :forgiveme:
Can't believe this is happenin'

She left a light on
It said closed tonight
Think I better keep west on I-10
How much more do I drive tonight
To get home to New Orleans

Will she welcome me with open arms
Or will the door slam right in my face
Am I Clark Gable or her Bradley Pitt
Or just a number in her resume

Sign on the door said do not disturb
Think I better keep west on I-10
Lousiana's in my high beams
I'm almost home to New Orleans

Everything about her made me want to shout
This is love
It's a real sure thing
Like it didn't matter
My heart it got shattered
Now I'm playin' second string

She left a light on
It said closed tonight
Think I better keep west on I-10
How much more do I drive tonight
To get home to New Orleans

Gimme ten likes and I'll finish the story.

what's funny is they think this bro-dude-frat country shite is "country music"

frat country? Everybody in my fraternity hated radio/nashville country but we all loved us some red dirt/texas country and rap. I think that radio country is more poor ole white trash and chick music

My younger cousin posted on facebook about how he saw Colt Ford and Florida Georgia Line in concert, and how it was THE best concert he's ever been too.

I actually have a friend who is working for FGL now...he used to work for Reckless Kelly and quit because he was tired of being on the road, realized he missed it and started stage managing for festivals and stuff. He got a new job pretty soon thereafter but wouldn't tell anyone who he was with because he knew we would bust his balls for eternity. We later found out he is with FGL.

The point is, it's AMAZING how many jokes you can come up with that involve some variation of the word "Cruise". Of course, the joke is really on us because dude is making close to 6 figures...

I mean, they sell out arenas full of people who are SUPER excited to see them. It just so happens that all those people have terrible taste in music.

That video tells it all. It's sad how far country has fallen since the days of Merle, Willie, Cash, Waylon and then the early 90s country music.

I did IRL when he apologized for all the wallet chains

ts funny, back when country music was actually original it had the "every song is about a dog dying, woman leaving" stereotype, but now that its more mainstream every song is basically the same now

It's gotten so generic.

2 things that have ruined country music

1. No longer has a steel guitar twang sound.

2. Lyrics are generic. No meaning, no story telling, no soul at all. Basically no culture or creativity.

Please tell me it is the only concert he has ever been to. That's his only chance at redemption
