IS this a good show live?

saw the tour in Atlanta and it was fantastic. I'm not an uber fan by any stretch ... girlfriend had an extra and i was sort of blown away.

Interesting; I've got tickets but not sure I care to go.

I'm not going to be using my tickets for the show tonight. Anyone interested? Orchestra seats. Have $300 in the pair from Ticketmaster; will let them go for half

Last night was
Seriously, good mix of old and new. They play a different set each night, so the next two nights should be pretty different... I'm curious if Trent will pull out any surprises, as he seemed genuinely excited to be back in a city that means a lot to him.

Agreed. He looked energized and excited to be there last night. Didn’t seem like he was just going through the motions. Sound and lights were on point.
I wanna go tomorrow night as I feel it’ll be the most different of the three. Idk probably wishful thinking. Glad I saw them in a venue like that. I’d do it again (like tonight and tomorrow).

All three should be pretty unique. They are changing 90% of the setlist each night this tour.

What did they open and close with last night?
I’m going tonight, got a free ticket right near the stage. Fn pumped

Pretty good show last night. Opened with several in a row from the Fragile which was amazing
Sound quality in the Saenger was perfection and Trent sounded great.
Was disappointed in the set list somewhat as he dropped March of the Pigs and Wish and added
Closer and head like a hole.
Could have done without closer for sure. How do you not play Pigs or Wish?
I hate when bands play 3 straight days in a city and feel the need to change set list so much.
Win Butler of Arcade Fire was sitting a few seats down from me in the Orchestra

Great Saturday set..lots of Fragile stuff as stated. I loved the remix of Sanctified also.
I also could do without Closer and really thought the 1st night set list showcased some unique stuff...but a lot of their classics were overshadowed by newer albums. Still, Happiness In Slavery LIVE? Wow! And the intro was Perfect. 4 Fragile songs in a row. The Day the Whole World Went Away was chilling to say the least.
Stafrickers was awesome!
Songs that I hope tonight's crowd gets to hear...

I know The Jesus and Mary Chain opened for NIN but who was the band that performed before them? I didn't catch their name.

I'm about to leave BR to head to the show. As much as I was looking forward to it, I'm really just not in the mood to go. I don't even know why. Hopefully once I get on the road that'll change. I guess it's just another sign that I'm getting old...

I thought the show was awesome, but much shorter than I expected. Like noted above, he played 3 songs off the Broken album, which all 3 were powerful and great. I enjoyed the show tremendously, but probably won't go if/when he comes back. That was my 4th time to see NIN and that's probably enough. I wish he would have played more from PRetty Hate Machine. He played Head Like a Hole, that was it. I don't think I can possible hear THats What I Get or SOmething I Can Never Have too many times live. Either one of those would have been great but it didn't happen. He opened to Mr. Self Destruct then went into Piggy next. Which is cool, because that is a great beginning to the experience that is Downward Spiral. I enjoyed it, but it was a stark reminder that I'm getting old and that New Orleans has some really weird people amongst it.

I totally agree with everything you said. I feel I'm getting old and the New Orleans scene has changed a lot since I grew up there. Great show with on point lights and the sound was amazing.
