Why are these guys not HUGE. Started listening to them on Pandora on the Chris Stapleton Channel. It's just really good and the guitar work is excellent.

In another time I suspect these guys would fill arenas, if not stadiums.

They're certainly getting bigger, but if you want them to be radio/arena big, they'll have to take the FL/GA line route, which I hope they do not.

I really like them, but they are in that same trap that too many fall into: "We want to make serious music." That's all fine and good, but you have to have some party music too. Even LS, did that, Call Me The Breeze, Gimme Three Steps, etc.. There are songs out there, they need to find them.

Whiskey Myers has songs like that, but Early Morning Shakes isn't going to make it on the radio.

Can you give me a link, to just a fun happy song that they do?

Because they have a terrible band name

I don't think it's all that bad, it's not what I would choose, but I think it's fine. Actually has a solemn reminder in the name, intentionally or not: Whiskey mires.

Could you give some suggestions, on your ideas for names of a country rock band?

Well of the songs you listed, I think Early Morning Shakes qualifies.

But they do have one of the happiest songs I've heard on a record in a long time with Good Ole Days.

They’ve certainly blown up over the last few years from the Texas Country/Americana scene where they started. Too rock for country radio and not pop enough for pop or rock radio.

They opened for The Rolling Stones in Chicago in June 2019. According to a October 2019 Rolling Stone article, Mick saw one of their music videos and asked them to open.

'Bar, Guitar, and a Honky Tonk Crowd' and 'Deep Down in the South' should qualify

For the Louisiana folks, they have a date scheduled at the Texas Club on Feb 13, 2021. Hopefully the COVID scare is long over by then

I live nearby, stop by for a couple of bourbons before, if you'd like . Don't think I've seen you since some show at the varsity last year

Been a fan for a few years. Every album is solid. Great band to see live if you ever get the chance.

I agree and if you hear them live or unplugged they are just as good. Cody Cannon can sing..

Example: Trailer we call home
