Where to buy music for download, not streaming?

With the demise of PlayMusic on Android, I haven't found another viable route to buy the songs I want and download the mp3 to my library. I tried with Amazon, but you have to use their player and it is buggy as hell.
Any suggestions?

No you don’t.
Just download file and play it on whatever you wish.

In the recent past I have used a youtube to mp3 convertor website. Looks like my go to site is no longer working. Try out a few that show up in a search. There are many. You may have to look at more than one youtube version of the video to get the highest quality. If it's older stuff look for words in the video title like remastered or HQ

HDTracks (if I have a discount code)
7Digital
BandCamp
Usually my first 3 stops for digital downloads.

I just buy off of Amazon then move it to my Samsung Music. Its pretty damn easy. You can even bluetooth it to a laptop after.

Amazon or iTunes, either one lets you buy, download and then play on whatever.
I used HDTracks for a while, but only when I had a code for at least 20% off as the prices are high to me for what you get. (No liner notes, no artwork... those are part of what I want if I'm paying for it, especially with genres like jazz and classical where there are details you need to fully understand and appreciate the recording.)
