There is a difference between making left leaning socially conscious music (I own every album Jackson Browne made between 1973 and 1984, every album Bruce Springsteen made between 1972 and 1990, and every U2 album made between 1980 and 1991 so I know a little about the subject) and having your face shoved into left leaning socially conscious music.
