What's the best Police album?

That's a tough one... they are all very good IMO...

I love Regatta de Blanc a lot and that one is probably regarded as their "worst"

Also, just because Syncronicity has all their huge MTV hits, dont dismiss it...

This may be my favorite Police song and its off of Regatta..

They're one of my very favorite bands, and I can't pick one as the overall best. Pretty much the one I'm listening to at any particular moment is the best right then.

I really think it's Synchronicity. I love their rawer, early stuff, so I'm inclined to say Outlandos D'Amour or Regatta de Blanc, but man... Synchronicity is a near perfect album. Even the song that people are most likely to hate, Mother, is at least a pretty cool idea (I really like it, but I tend to like aggressive and antagonizing music).

But come on, Tea in the Sahara.

far and away, disc one of 'the police: live!' gets the most listens by me.

studio-wise, 'regatta de blanc' is my personal fave.
