They were all over the place a couple years ago. I went to a few of their shows around BR and they had some decent music. Then it seems like they just fell off the map.

Saw them 3 or 4 years ago and they were great. Saw them at the Varsity this year and they were shite.

About 3 years ago would probably be the last time I saw them. It was one hell of a time. Wonder why they fell off?

They opened up with Hells Bells at the Varsity so that could be a good indicator.

They are a bad band, but the lead guy is a junkie now.

It happened just like when Dewey Cox did a punk version of Walk Hard

Epitome of a crappy fourth tier jam band

Brock Butler is a huge douche as well as (like others have said) a junkie. I heard you can get him to dance for an OC

I don't think they ever ran the risk of being great but they were a good time on occasion a few years back

Holy frick. Can anything be funnier than a pissing match between Widespread Panic and Phish fans? I guess you could insert a condescending Tool fan that just keeps repeating that they both suck.

It's pretty sad and only phish fans seem to feel the need to measure dicks........

Saw them at the varisty back in 2011. It was my 21st and I was a little out of it, but I thought they sounded pretty good.

Haven't heard them since, but I guess they have kinda crumbled

That's just the bias talking. Both are pretty insufferable about how great their respective favorite jam band is.

The panic fans here are pretty docile for the most part. I have no problem with the band phish but their fans are some of the most annoying people in music

I measure nothing

I know Phish is better than WSP

This is a fact

It's Tuesday April 16th, 82 degrees in Baton Rouge, and Phish is better than Widespread Panic.

Again, I'd put WSP fans right up there with them and Tool fans.
