Dude, I like Panic as much as you do or more. Been to a lot of their shows and will see more, but you're missing out on the Phish shows. Don't let the phans here dissuade you because they troll so hard. Phish live is awesome

If phish makes it easy to attend on of their shows I might attend. But unless they're in Nola I'm probably not going

You're loss. Hard to believe you like live music and jambands and yet you won't see the best.

It's a shame we've trolled you so hard you won't even go to a Phish show

Oh well

You should atleast give it a try if you're such a jam band buff

I don't enjoy them.... I've tried my best. I've listened to live show after live show and I just can't get into them. Actually seeing them may be a different story but I'm not traveling across the country to see a band I'm not even fond of. Sorry

Y'all have done nothing to influence my opinion of phish and I had already formed my opinion of their fan base years before the music board ever came into existence

You don't have to go to phish shows to meet phish fans and the vast majority act just like heady and yourself.

That annoys me, I don't like being annoyed at a show.

And I don't care what you think of WSP. I don't need my musical tastes validated by anybody

WSP is just too dang slow for me. I like a band that I can dance to. That being said my favorite of the ham band world are The
Disco Biscuts(I know they've been off lately. but nobody takes me where those guys did/do>Phish> whatever else that grooves.

Umph is corny as frick(I know Jake is effin amazing. its still corny). Tribe has totally lost their roots (terrible now). Lotus can be lots of fun, but their shows can be repetitive. Cheese can be fun if they dont let michael travis take over with that "eoto dubstep".

My problem with Umphrey's is that they have no soul whatsoever. It is just a shredfest between the two guitarists just trying to outdo each other. I do like their choice of covers though.

STS9 was fun when Phish wasn't around. However like Danman said they got worse and worse everytime I saw them. It was only entertaining if I was on drugs. Also, their fans are pretty douchey.

Bisco is definitely the best out of the 3, and certainly the best at extended jamming. I need to see them again. The last time was 5 years ago.
