I actually pay for Pandora one. It's getting to where it plays almost the same playlists over and over. It didn't used to be this bad.

They have to pay royalties every time the play a song. Some songs cost more than others. Chances are they play the cheaper songs more often. All streaming services are a rip off because of this IMO.

Pandora free here... Put it on "Steve Miller Band" radio while working in my garage yesterday for four hours. Enjoyed the shite out of it.

Don't you sort of create the playlist over time?

Yes, I have this weird idea that developers should get paid and that taking stuff for free hurts the product in the long run.

I pay for a Spotify subscription, and it's worth every penny.

You can choose "I'm tired of this track" if a song comes on too much for your liking. It won't get rid of it completely but won't play it for a while. Also, use the thumbs up and thumbs down periodically to vary what it chooses to play.

I'm a very happy subscriber. I discovered a lot of different artists I like through it and it's well worth the 4 bucks I pay a month.

I use it for work because, everyone wants to listen to something different. So I put it on a shuffle of 5-10 stations. But it does seem to play the same stuff.

Lately we listen to live 365, channel "in the mix" from Phoenix. It has a good variety of old and new, and some deep cuts.
Songs I've never heard, can't say that about pandora.

I use spotify, soundcloud by myself.

I use Padora One. Some songs play on 2-3 different stations. You have to downvote the song on the station you don't want it to play on.

Ex. Clapton will play on the blues and 80's station.
