I don’t know about any song in particular but watching Tony Bennett sing on 60 Minutes last night got me.

Blind Melon - New Life
Aside from the sadness I feel for the loss of Shannon, it makes me think about my kids losing me, which is a punch to the gut.

God Bless America. The only song that tears me up.
This one comes close: Patty Loveless - You Don’t Even Know Who I Am

I wouldn't say it makes me cry but Holes in the Floor of Heaven by Steve Wariner always makes me feel pretty sad. I usually change the station whenever it comes on Prime County

The Story Of My Life
A side note: This song was initially written as a tribute to his father who had passed. When originally submitted, Columbia Records told him it needed changing so he rewrote it a bit and changed the name of the album. He never forgot that and when he had enough of Columbia/Sony after 35 years, he walked away taking his masters with him.

Cemetery Gates - Pantera.
A couple hours after my FIL passed away, I was asked to run an errand in his truck. I started it up, and it was playing on the XM radio. Ouch.
