For me it would have to be Great Gig in the Sky - from Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon.
Clare Torry's voice is so great on that track. I want that song played as people leave the church.
That song is both sad and uplifting at the same time, and has no words.

amazing grace
At my uncle's funeral that song was played by a man playing the bagpipes...
Not a dry eye in the house.

I’m gonna pick two songs; cut a dead guy some slack.
Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters.” I’m a big Metallica fan and I’ll like to think I’ve lived my life in stride with this tune’s lyrics.
Queen’s “Another One Bites the Dust.” I’m from South Louisiana and have been a big rasslin’ fan since the early 80s. If you know, you know.

The Pogues - If I Should Fall From Grace With God
quote:
If I should fall from grace with God
Where no doctor can relieve me
If I'm buried 'neath the sod
But the angels won't receive me
Let me go, boys
Let me go, boys
Let me go down in the mud
Where the rivers all run dry
This land was always ours
Was the proud land of our fathers
It belongs to us and them
Not to any of the others
Let them go, boys
Let them go, boys
Let them go down in the mud
Where the rivers all run dry
Bury me at sea
Where no murdered ghost can haunt me
If I rock upon the waves
No corpse shall lie upon me
Coming up threes, boys
Coming up threes, boys
Let them go down in the mud
Where the rivers all run dry
If I should fall from grace with God
Where no doctor can relieve me
If I'm buried 'neath the sod
So the angels won't receive me
Let me go, boys
Let me go, boys
Let me go down in the mud
Where the rivers all run dry

Toss up between 'Just a Closer Walk With Thee' & 'I'll Fly Away'. Both played with a combination of NO jazz & southern gospel.

Something Bach. Tossup between the Brandenburg Concertos, St. Matthew Passion, or all of the Inventions.
Limited to one song? Beatles Good Night.

The old rugged cross.
I've listened to thousands of songs in hundreds of settings, but I always go back to Sunday nights when I was a kid.
Beautiful song that brought all ages together.
