For me, I love Jimmy Eat World to this day, but when I hear Bleed American or Futures, I’m back in college.

I’d imagine there are a lot of 90s youth group kids here who’d laugh a little and turn the volume up if they heard DC Talk on the radio.

KISS takes me back to the 70’s, to my pre teen years skateboarding and swimming with my friends all summer long.

I hung out at a local pool every summer when I was a kid. Like all afternoon every day of summer. There are songs that make me smell chlorine when I hear them. One of them is Let em In by Paul McCartney.

I’m old, Three Dog Night’s “Joy to the World” was playing on the AM radio of a 1968 Mercury Marquis land barge while 15 year old me was in the back seat fondling a pair of breasts for the first time. Every time I hear the song it takes me back to that.

Same here. My grandmother ran the local pool in the Summer, so I was there every day. there was a couple of Summers in the early 80s that the pool had a jukebox(and Pac Man and Pole Position).
There are several songs from those Summers(Jesse's Girl, Bette Davis Eyes, Elvira, etc) that will always remind me of those Summers at the pool.

Pop punk is teenage years for me, but Memory - Sugarcult brings back a specific memory of my crush and I sharing earbuds listening to music on the school bus en route to an away football game (we were both in the marching band)

You’ve gotta be a Texan to have that list of tunes in your archive. That took me back to the Deep Ellum Theater Gallery days in Dallas.

Driving around w/ my dad when I was in elementary and middle school, to and from baseball, or just running some Saturday afternoon errands, Motown.
Went to high school in the early 90s and got in to rap. If I hear ‘93 Til Infinity these days randomly, I’ll stop in my tracks and am immediately taken back to hanging out w/ my buddies, smoking and being so carefree.
Got in to the Strokes, Hold Steady, rock in the Aughts, first jobs, living in NYC. I used to hang at this one bar that didn’t have a stereo system, just a jukebox. They’d give the regulars $5 bucks out of the drawer, and let them pick a few songs every once in a while. I figured, might as well pick the longest ones possible. Whenever I hear Nina Simone’s Sinnerman, I’m back to my late 20s. It’s one of my favorite songs ever, if just for the mood it puts me in.

Gerry Rafferty’s ‘Baker Street’ sends me right back to college. It’s also a perfect drive at night song.

"Oh What a Night" by the Four Seasons reminds me of Thunderbird Beach, specifically the little covered area by the concession stand with the red picnic tables.
"One Of These Nights" by the Eagles takes me back to riding the Wild Mouse at Fun Fair Park.
