Lol

I missed this part of the question, lol.

So who could sell out nearly 20k seats a night for 2-3 nights a week for multiple months, plus have a visually compelling video production to go along with it?

I think Tame Impala and The Flaming Lips could do a Phish or Anyma type short residency, but, yeah, couln't do several months.

The amount of artists that could do several months are few and far between.

They don't have a big enough following to sell out 16 nights, but I would love to see The Black Angels at the Sphere with some trippy visuals.

yea, for as expensive as that place is, it is woefully underutilized. I am going there to see the Eagles and I was looking at who was on-deck for the future: Kenny Chesney, another Dead & Company run and a few EDM shows.

Ouch!

That made me think, who could pull it off? There are not a lot of artists out there that have that kind of draw, plus a fanbase that can afford it and will travel.

I'm sure there are sub-genres out there that I don't follow, probably some Latin or Asian artists, like some K-Pop group. I had never heard of Anyma, and was surprised they had such a long run of shows, so I certainly don't know everything.

Not many people or bands that could do a long run at a place like that. The production costs make it so that you probably need to do at least two weeks to make it work and then who still garners that much demand in this day and age.

There's a bunch of old classic rock acts that they need to jump on before they die.

They also could throw the checkbook at some bands to do a reunion, or what is left of them at least.

Pink Floyd
Led Zeppelin
The Who

Radiohead is not only a band who would draw people in but also play music which is highly adaptable to an incredible visual show.

Pearl Jam is still selling out shows, even multi-night runs in some cities. They could probably sell out a run.

If he hadn't gone nuts and lost his touch for making great music, Kanye would be a no-brainer.

I'm sure Drake or Kendrick would work.

Rammstein. The production costs for a Sphere run may even be cheaper than the normal cost for a stadium tour of their shows.

Just replying to show how websites watch your clicks.
I read this thread and then went back out to the main TD page and at the bottom was an ad for New Kids on the Block residency at the MGM, which is like 5K capacity. Looks like 3 different 2 week stints in 2025.

I will not be attending in case you were wondering

Creed?

Pretty sure they are on their second reunion and i think tik tok made them famous again.

Or tik tok made them famous again and now they are doing a 2nd reunion.

Creed saw a major resurgence in popularity in young men in 2024. Many of their hits, especially One Last Breath, became popular sounds on TikTok. By June 2024, Creed's return to mainstream popularity was evidenced by a return to four Billboard charts.

Yeah, Creed is my final answer.
