U2 has the inaugural residency, but which bands do you think would be tailor made (or vice versa) for the Sphere?

Rodger Waters or Pink Floyd were the first that came to mind. Kraftwerk is another. The Residents. Prince would have done it justice. Perhaps some sort of Les Claypool project?

A lot of buzz about Phish doing a multi-night stand. Their light show is an integral part of their experience, so not sure how that would work in The Sphere.

Any band that has a concept album which could be played in full with awesome accompanying video to music

Personally seeing any great instrumental band with cool graphics would be awesome

OG Pink Floyd of course

But in reality.....

TOOL

Some might also go with the jam bands and such, but not sure they'd fill it.

U2 was the perfect opening band

I agree with NIN. Top of my list
Then maybe The Killers
they are from Vegas and would still pull out of state fans

How is the audio in the sphere? If it's just a visual thing, any mediocre pop princess would suffice, hence U2.

Liked Tame Impala and GWAR (which would probably never happen lol)

Add Depeche Mode to the list. Maybe Alice Cooper.
