I've been binging Tool youtubez this morning and I really can't think of any band that has such a rich library of incredible music videos.

Peter Gabriel had some really good ones too, and Michael Jackson had some great stuff, so those two would also be up there for me- but Tool's library is just so large and it's great quality across the board. One of the few bands who bother to make a video that can actually enhance their music.

Pink Floyd is up there as well.

OK Go's videos are different and innovative. Clearly they put a lot of thought and work into them.

Agreed. Not necessarily a fan of the music, but a big fan of the videos.

OK Go was my first thought. It's to the point where I don't really even like the music they put out, but when I get excited when I find out there's a new OK Go Video.

I feel like they could be a little better polished but maybe part of their charm is that they aren't?

Upside down and Inside Out (Weightless)

Here It Goes Again (Treadmills)

I Won't Let You Down (scooters)

Needing/Getting (Car)

This Too Shall Pass (Rube Goldberg Machine)

The Writing's On the Wall (Perspective Sculpture)

End Love (Stop Motion Video)

White Knuckles (Dogs)

Do What You Want (Matching Wallpaper)

I'm Not Through (Green Screen Invisible People)

OK Go's videos are more like performance art set to music. I Won't Let You Down, This Too Shall Pass and The Writing's On the Wall stand out to me. The excruciating level of detail and planning is just mind-blowing. Not to mention the patience to endure dozens and sometimes hundreds of takes to get it right.

Donkeyboy out of Norway was hugely influenced by A-Ha and their 80's style music and videos. City Boy would have been a massive hit in the 80's MTV world.

I recommend this band for anyone who like prog-metal and mixed genres.

Y'all put up some damn fine submissions.

Everclear had a nice run in the 90s don't think any one will mention.

Busta Rhymes always had you wondering what kinda crazy stuff he was gonna do in his vids

Post-MTV era, my favorite is probably Black Moth Super Rainbow.

Windshield Smasher

Born On A Day The Sun Didn't Rise

Sun Lips

Belle and Sebastian have had some good ones too.
