Only counting Baton Rouge stations:
3. 96.9 (Cool station that's a little hit or miss, but it has some nice stuff)
2. 97.7 (I really get bored with this station quickly, but it's a compromise with my SO and I HATE country music which is all she ever seems to listen to outside of this station when we're driving in the car.)
1. 98.1 (Hit or miss thanks to the abundance of downright bad 80s music and mediocre 90s grunge it seems to play constantly these days)
Saddly, this is the best this city offers. I used to at least be able to catch 92.3, but now they've switched to being yet another country station
. At least there's still 93.7, but they're pretty hit or miss with all of the nickleback-esque stuff and obscure new heavy metal.

90.3 on Saturday mornings will make you miss living in Baton Rouge. Really disappointing that they don't stream that signal.
And catching Zia on KLSU on Sundays is awesome too. I don't care what music he plays, as long as he speaks with that cool voice.

Surprised they played that. One of my fav Beatles tunes and definitely not one you find on the radio, especially 98.1

It amazes me that BR still doesn't have a new orleans style music station. An hour away from one of the greatest music scenes in the world and nothing to be heard of in BR.
The stations in BR have always been beyond terrible.

Of course, I disagree. I've been listening to it for just as long and it's still pretty much the same. No other station in town even comes close.
