Weird Al - Bigger and Weirder Tour - 2026 (90 dates!)
Posted on 6/1/26 at 3:23 pm

Has anyone been yet, tour is only a few dates in so far. But he's got at least 80 more to play between now and October.
90 dates in total, between May 26 and Oct 17.
That seems like a lot for an arena act.

That's an insane amount of shows for any age but especially at his.

I just don’t get why anyone would go to this. Sure he’s a funny guy might be a good musician but still why? Explain to me.

So? If people don’t buy tickets they will get cancelled. If people buy tickets the show will go on and he’ll cash the check
He’s been around 40 years. Everyone knows him. He’s family friendly. He probably moves tickets. Not sure how is voice holds up though. Wouldn’t be too surprised if he uses tracks. I hear his show is more than just a concert. Believe he does tons of costume changes

I’ve never seen him but I know a few people that have. Everyone says it’s actually a great show and well worth it. Not what you’d expect

Last night's show in Alpharetta was a sell out. Around 14,000 if I recall.

His voice was great, was not using tracks on lead vocals. But I'm pretty sure there were some tracks in the overall instrumentation, but with his catalog and the stage production, I don't know how you would pull off the show otherwise.

Correct, with entertianing videos during each change.

Everyone who goes says it’s an awesome show. I’ll be at the Baton Rouge stop later this year

I'm used to seeing bands like Phish at this venue where the lights are phenomenal, my biggest hit on Weird Al is the lights sucked, it was a glorified high school talent show and a really nice high school, light-wise. I've seen better light shows at the Variety Playhouse. Al's production was all focused on the music and timing of the schticks and costumes and the big screen behind him. I wish they would have focused more on the lighting aspect.
Does anyone know if Puddles is doing the whole tour with him, or was he just a special guest/opener in the ATL show? Puddles lives in ATL.

Puddles is doing the whole tour. This is basically last year's show in an arena. Looks like the same setlist. The Weird Al hate in this thread is stupid. What are you people thinking, a Tool level light show with Rush level musicianship? Its a fricking comedy act. Lighten up and enjoy yourself.

Weird Al is the person who inspired me to write my own parodies including the one you like entitled, "White People".
My favorite parody that I wrote is of the song entitled , "How do you solve a problem like Maria" from The Sound of Music which I entitled, "How do we solve a problem like the Donald?"
If you insist I will post the lyrics.

I haven't either, but my brother who has been to hundreds of concerts and was drug to a show last year by his girlfriend said it was much better than he expected. They were in the first five rows.
Of course his opening act was Puddles Pity Party and he said at one point Puddles made eye contact with him and started moving his way and he waved him off "no, no no!". The little elf that with Puddles makes me laugh.

The musicians he has in the band might as well be a backing track they’re so tight. Al is massively talented and has a really fantastic falsetto and range. Heard him come on stage and play with the bare naked ladies one time on accordion and he was excellent. All around class act.

Saw the show last night and really enjoyed it. Had never seen Weird Al live so it was a bucket list thing. The opener (Puddles) was a bit bizarre to me but most of the crowd enjoyed him.

Would you agree that the lights were a bit lacking?

Nobody is hating weird al. Calm down.

They could have done more with the lights.

The tix were a birthday present to my 11yo and his best friend, they had a blast. I was, and still am, lightened up. I wish the production crew lit it up a little more. Light wise.

Something else I noticed was the lack of children. I expected to see many more. I see more kids at a phish concert.
Posted on 6/2/26 at 2:50 am to deeprig9
I’m planning on taking the kids to the show in BR later this year. There’s tons of available tickets, I was kinda hoping this would be a case of ‘blue dot fever’ and I could get some discounted tickets if I waited to buy. But if his earlier shows are near sellouts, maybe not?
However, as this news is sure to spread about the sub-par lighting, maybe that would deter people from going to future shows.

Have you ever watched Weird Al’s music videos? They’re very funny. Now, imagine those performed live like a broadway play with lighting, choreography, sets, and special effects, all without sacrificing the fidelity of the music performance. Yeah, it’s really entertaining. Plus, the humor is mostly clean, so it’s a family friendly show.
