I know this board loves Texas artists like Turnpike and Cody Jinks. What does the board say about Bowen?

His new album released yesterday, and it excellent. Not sure if it is better than his last album, but damn its good country music.

Seeing him tonight in Nashville. Will be my fifth Bowen show.

Wade has been overrated for a long time, but he’s always been an a-hole so I may be biased. His new album isn’t bad though.

Wade is alright. That El Dorado song he did with Randy Rogers was the shite. I’ve never really been into his solo stuff.

Go on.

Nothing will compare to his Live at Billy Bobs album

I've been to 3-4 Bowen shows at the Varisty and had a blast every time.

I like the new album....but I can listen to pretty much all of his albums.

Solid Texas Country artist. Just not very relevant any more. I love his new CD though.

If you are interested in some relatively new bands, check out some of these...

Shane Smith and the Saints
Flatland Cavalry
Parker McCollum
Koe Wetzel

Seen him this past weekend at the Mile 0 Fest in Key West. He put on a good performance. His band was on point as well.

Wade was so much better pre 2010.

We hung out with him and Randy one night down at the hangar in nola circa 2005. Probably 20 ppl there for the show. We hug out with both bands all night and they invited us to hang out at Fred’s in Br the next night. I know csb but those were damn fun times. Now I just feel to old to even make a mid week show.

Every time I have been around Wade, professionally, he was an a-hole. Granted, I was media, so maybe he just doesn’t like the media

I saw him at the Fair in my town like 20 times in high school. He is coasting as this point in his career and he deserves it. He has been a pioneer.

I interviewed Koe Wetzel back in 2013 after his EP dropped and reached the top 10 in country albums on iTunes. He has been around. He is just finally mainstream and he deserves it. Their sound is awesome. I highly recommend checking out their older stuff.

The original EP is still my favorite, but it maybe because I was going to see them play it live in a bar in front of 20 people in Stephenville

I'm really enjoying the new album. A lot of variety but all Wade at heart. I'm looking forward to seeing some of them live.
