Three guitars and one of them being Zakk Wylde? I've never heard of Scott Travis.

Skynyrd isn't metal though. I don't think three guitars is necessary.

Dual-lead guitars with a rhythm guitar? Why not?

Probably the most overrated guitarist of the entire genre. I could list about 25 musicians off the top of my head that would make the cut before him.

Yea was a big Pantera fan growing up. These days I don't listen to much metal besides when I'm working out.

The way I see it you have about 6-8 musicians for each instrument to pick and choose from. It all depends on your subgenre preferences.
