If you look past the trampolines, acapella songs, circus music, elementary lyrics, child molester bass player, and the drummer who wears a dress (not that there is anything wrong with that).....Trey will accidentally hit a good chord during the endless strumming and noodling.

Recording quality maybe? Idk, but it's my fave YEM from 97-98. Much better than 11.28.97 IMO
12.9.95 brings a pre-funk funk if you will, and obviously has been lauded as an all timer since LINK

Idk about much better than 11/28/97 YEM. That’s a pretty hot jam. That part in the middle of the jam where Mike takes over for a while is some thick arse funk. Then that lick Trey plays when he comes back into the groove....good shite. Id give the exact time stamp if I wasn’t at work. But if you’ve heard it you probably know what I’m talking about.

Phish isn't a real band, they're some guys who learned their instruments like arithmetic and play scales and basic drum beats for hours while saying random I'm high as shite lyrics, never understood how in the hell anybody can listen to that shite
