Wife is making me go. Tix and site say 7:30 show time. Is this accurate? Curious how much time we have for dinner before getting to venue. TIA

Saw them once. First hour or so was sort of a narrated Christmas story about a little match girl, with Christmas songs. At the end, the narrator said, “And now we come to the end of our story,” followed by a final holiday song.

The next hour so so was straight up rock music, starting with Layla. It was way better to me.

We later talked about the show with some friends who went. When we mentioned the rock songs, they looked confused. Said they didn’t hear any of that. Turns out that when they heard the narrator say it was the end of the story, they got up and left to beat the traffic.

Show just got done about 20 minutes ago. Was damn good as usual.

Used a lot of pyrotechnics.

It was meh IMO, but not really my cup of tea to begin with. For those who’d like to know, they went on at 7:45 dead on. Show ran about 2 hours. Maybe someone looking for this info later will find it here since I couldn’t find it anywhere. Earlier poster was right. The blue hairs need to get back to the home by curfew.

Savatage was a great band, but I never would have bet that they'd be one of the most popular touring acts in the 2010's.

I'd be wiling to bet that 99% of the people who go to TSO have never heard of Savatage.

Got the Beethoven's Last Night album last year and thought it was pretty good.

There's two versions of TSO touring at the same time. I think only one of them has a guy from Savatage.

I’m sick of all this trans stuff. Either you’re a Siberian orchestra or you’re not.

Problem with o'neal's death is he was their main songwriter. They need some fresher material. Floor and lowere level were full but the upper tier was pretty empty, unlike last year.

Dude, put down the crack pipe. There were a few scatter empty seats. I know most were no shows. On my row I tried to get 2 more seats but it was sold out in my section. 5 minutes before the show started there were at least a thousand seat empty they the lights went out and they filled out.

Actually I've watched some of their concerts on Youtube over the weekend of the East Group.

What I saw last week was as if creatively they mailed it in and played the minimum to get in and out.
