No, this board is for DISCUSSION (capitalized and bolded. And "and" is italicized). It's not for simply listing a bunch of shite.

1.Strange Days....this and their debut are the best first two albums by any American band in the history of the world.
2. The Doors-debut album
3. Morrison Hotel
4. Waiting for the Sun.
5. Soft Parade

I like L.A. Woman but Morrison was shot at that point and not much left in the tank.

Doors
Strange Days
LA Woman
Soft Parade
Waiting for the Sun

LA Woman is the one I listen to most. Great mix of moods and different textures runs through that one. Strange Days has my favorite Doors song, When the Music's Over. The Soft Parade is a killer song too, all over the place and psychedelic as hell. And Not To Touch The Earth peels back the fabric of reality and gives a glimpse of another dimension. Great song.

This kind of topic works with bands like the Rolling Stones and Rush who have something like 20 some studio albums to choose from. It doesn't work so great when the band in question only put out six studio albums to begin with. Why don't we just do the top five studio Jimi Hendrix and CCR albums while we are at it?

This is the winner. LA Woman is ridiculous from start to finish. I may put the Doors above Strange, but I don’t know. It’s basically a tie for me
