John Lennon's 'Starting Over' is absolutely the most atrocious, hideous, zero talented song EVER made! The making and producing of that song should be investigated like a homicide.
ANYONE....recording engineers....producers.....all musicians involved.....anybody that had anything to do with that song should be sent to jail!
Anyone that likes that song should be sent to jail. It's a song that is so bad that it is actually offensive!

This reminds me of that thread about Oasis being larger/better than the Beatles

I thought for sure this thread would be about George Harrison's "I Got My Mind Set On You."

As bad as that song may be by Harrison, it's a greatest hit compared to Starting Over.

I thought you were going to say Wonderful Christmastime... which would also be correct.

Actually, I find that song kinda 'catchy'. But I'm not a musician. I'm just a listener.

The best thing about these threads is that the people who post and bitch are the same people who don't have the talent that the mentioned artists have in their little toenail.

I think this thread has gone off on the wrong tangent. Actually, for my money, one of the worst songs I ever heard is "Miracles" by Jefferson Airplane. I could have gone with "Get Down/Jungle Boogie" by Kool & the Gang but at least you can dance to that.

It's sort of a sucky song, but Marty Balin and Grace Slick's voices still sound decent.

Oh it's a stupid song, but it has a good beat.

Hadn't heard that john Lennon song so I just listened to it and while it is bad, it is definitely not the worst. The video is infuriating because it's just full of Yoko which just makes me cringe. The worst song I have ever heard is hard to choose but Love Shack is up there.
Also the song "So Into you" by Atlanta rhythm section came on my satellite radio and that is a very STRONG candidate.
