Saw em on CMT the other day. Tear.
Either way I'm seeing them live at The Strand in Shreveport in June!!!

But I could see them getting even bigger than they are now. Def not a "live" band IMO.
It's a girl singing over tracks, with a guy playing guitar (they use to be In poison the well)
I am going to see them this week in Houston, I'll let you know how it goes.
ETA: When my wife and I saw them live at Varsity we spoke with them afterward, my wife told the guy he reminded her of Michael J Fox from Back To the Future playing Johnny B. Goode. He got so excited by it that he grabbed the female member (name escapes me) and had my wife tell her what she had just said. He called Back to the Future "like my bible"
Riot Rythm performed live
Above link is a live version of Riot Rythm. Quality isn't great, but it will give you an idea of seeing them live
Infinity Guitars Music Video
Both of those songs are from their debut album "Treats"

My bro in law used to be a huge fan of them, so I got a good bit of exposure to them. They're talented and I felt like in their prime they were fairly well known. Not exactly my taste, but I get them.

Never heard of em, post some of their better tunes.

Kasabian. Huge in Europe but haven't made it in America yet. Probably my favorite band right now. They're headlining Leeds and Reading and I just saw them at a 1200 seat club in Atlanta last month

Sheepdogs. I do think they will be hugely mainstream when their new album drops in the next couple of months though.

I like The Sword.
Kind of a nerdy/fantasy metal band.
Gotta love the videos
How Heavy this Ax
Tres Brujas
Tres Brujas is my jam

You can't figure out why a death metal band called Cannibal Corpse hasn't acheived mainstream success? Honestly?

I always figured that would overcome the lyrical shock content.

Talent doesn't mean you'll be a mainstream success

Impressed by this group. Hopefully they continue putting out good stuff.

silversun pickup's but they probably prefer it that way.

No, but it helps. The reason a lot of bands are obscure, they suck and/or don't do anything to separate themselves from the thousands of similar bands. Success is defined much differently in the music world than it was 30 years ago.
I am going with this group. Textures - To erase a lifetime.
The genre(s) just isn't popular enough anymore to become a superstar.

There's a ton of good bands that don't have a publicist.. Or someone that places their music into commercials.

Dax Riggs...I feel like his solo efforts should have received more attention than they've received. He's a great songwriter and has such a good voice. Fortunately he plays regularly here in Austin.
