Sugarland is a cool place for a show. And they will shuttle you for 5 bucks round trip from Sugarland Town Center. Free parking there or $15 onsite. You are gonna probably eat at the towncenter anyway.

I'm not thrilled about how many acts Smart Financial Center is drawing to SL instead of Houston.

Indeed.
I'd rather see him again at White Oak Music Hall...but I'll take what I can get.

Anyone been to the wharf at orange beach for a show?
Seems like a good date to me. The weekend following finals, on a Saturday

Was easier to deal with Sugarland than to deal with the theatre district.
It's a good place to see a show, not great. When they seat their max of 6,000 or so and you are in 200 level sating, you may as well be at Minute Maid.

I'm going to Sloss this year. WSP, Sturgill, and the Alabama Shakes for sure. And catch whatever else is going on.

Oh yeah, I understand why it's there and why they're landing some prime shows due to seating capacity, I'm just a bitch about driving down 59 to SL.
Haven't been there yet, so I appreciate your comment on the seating. Was looking at the seating chart and wondering.

It will be hard for me to make it there on a Thursday, but I will if at all possible.

Verizon Theater in Grand Prairie (dallas)
frick that! I saw him at club dada with 200 other people, no way I go see him at a big venue now.

Yeah. It kind of sucks he's getting bigger now (not for him) but I saw him at the Old Rockhouse awhile back and that's a 1/4 of the size of the Fox. The Fox sucks arse too, but I'm definitely still going.

I'm still hoping he ends up at the Beale Street Music Festival in May. Only one day of the three is booked.

I'm going to try. Depends on work. Shows at the Fox are great.
