I kinda grew out of pop/punk around 2007, but rediscovered my love for it around 2013.
Some great ones that make me nostalgic:
Adam's Song - Blink 182
Fat Lip - Sum 41
Rest of My Life - Unwritten Law
The Best of Me - The Starting Line
Come Back To Texas - Bowling for Soup

Subdivisions - Rush - spot on as to what high school was like back then and out right about the time I started high school.
Adult Education - Hall and Oates - not their best work and not my favorite, but also captures that era in time and teenage awkwardness very well.

I won't Rick Roll you guys, but Rick Astley's Never Gonna Give You Up was really popular when I was in 8th grade, and every time I hear it, it reminds me of the 8th grade dance where all us guys were scared to ask the girls to dance.
