Hospital for souls - Bring me the Horizon

I upvoted cause the song is a fricking ride. I always got the impression that Hospital for Souls was about cleansing yourself and starting over. That monologue doesn’t sound very mental healthy to me.

“ Funny thing is, all I ever wanted I already had
There's glimpses of heaven in every day
In the friends I have, the music I make, with the love I feel
I just had to start again”

Then comes the drop.

That’s The Spirit is probably the more mental health centric album IMO. Oli feels angry in Sempiternal. Confrontational. Just had enough and fed up with his life. That’s The Spirit outlines the mental and emotional journey with more thoughtfulness and self-reflection.

Happy song

Drown

Avalanche - this is only song I’ve had to actually click something in YouTube to watch because it relates to suicide. I think it was a BMTH decision cause it’s nowhere near as obvious and dark as some songs. I don’t know though.

I’ve always thought that song was about drug addiction.

Maybe both.
This line always made me think about suicide: “I would have walked head on into the deep end of the river”
