One of my best friends died from that cancer not quite a decade ago. A 175lb man was 85 lbs the last time I saw him, a week before he died. He was 75 lbs by the time he passed.

Man... I love that guy. Great singer, showman, and from what I have seen, all around great guy.

Met him in 1977 in a Holiday Inn (I think) in downtown B'ham. Two of us were driving from BR to NYC/Boston. First day out we were driving thru B'ham and saw a sign advertising that ELO was playing that night at the Civic Center(?). Got off the interstate, got tickets and then went to find a hotel. Next morning went down to get breakfast and in walks Eddie Money with a couple other band members. Talked to them and they had play another venue in town the previous night.
