I saw Michael Trent (Shovels and Rope guy) open up for Ryan Bingham in Oxford a few years back. I had no idea who he was at the time but he put on a hell of a show.

UPDATE ABOUT PARKING AND STAGE TIMES TONIGHT!

The Artemis Parade will be going on from 7 - 10. This will make parking next to the bar very difficult.

RECOMMENDED COURSE - From Nicholson, turn on Oklahoma going towards River Road, at River Road turn right, at the railroad tracks tell the police officer you are going to the show and would like to park in the BELLE OF BR GARAGE. You will turn left at the tracks, then take your first right to reach entrance to garage. Tell Attendant you are attending THE CONCERT and the charge should be $5.

Doors at 9, HFTRR at 10:15 and S+R at 11:15 SHARP

certainly no suck...fun show and some good songs, but their show is very "raw", which I love, but after about an hour it starts to wear on you a little. I think we left a song or two before the show was over.

Seems like an odd match-up with Riff Raff

Absolutely excellent show tonight. Great crowd, fantastic music and just an overall success. I was worried about it being over crowded but, while still packed, with the chairs and tables removed it never got too uncomfortable.

Your first sell out went off absolutely wonderfully JW

Great time with a lot of MB posters. I know for a fact TheDoc, Lboogie and myself had a great time and I'm fairly certain Massiveattack and LucasP did as well

We had a good time too. I was skeptical but really enjoyed it. It was packed but nobody got mad when you needed to move through.

Interesting. I've noticed I have little problem moving around at shows in Louisiana.

But in Georgia I've had a few situations where people actually wanted to engage in fisticuffs ... with me .. an old man.

Shovels and Ropes in Atlanta next weekend. I might check them out, but from what I've listened to there's not too much for me to move my feet.

They are a fun show to be at. Saw them last week in Tampa with Shakey Graves.

Awesome show. Hell of a job by the staff and a nice grab by J-Dubs.

See y'all in April for DRB.

Glad everyone made it out to what seemed like a great evening. Thanks for the support, the preaching of the gospel and the rest of it.

Wish i could have been there, but with your help i was able to follow the action.

Bump, cause I'm just getting around to checking this. Great time, hell of a show, and it's always good seeing you degenerates in real life. Tell the mud and water folks to keep up the good work.

I had on a UGA hat. We were in the corner to the left standing on the inset benches.
