Seen them over 20 times live but Evan just didn’t look like himself (glad he did the show, I know he has a lot going on)...his fiddle player stole the show....

He looked lifeless and like he was being forced to perform. I had flashbacks of seeing Brian Wilson at Jazzfest.

I had heard Evan wasn't doing well and they had canceled some shows. I assumed they were canceling everything and he was going to rehab.
Hopefully he can get right, last years album was awesome.

He was lifeless on stage and the fiddler didn’t really start getting into it until the end. Singer was constantly looking side to side like he was paranoid someone was coming for him and don’t think he smiled once. After their last song he rushed down the stairs to get on the truck out of there without really thanking the crowd at all. Don’t think he moved more than a few feet from his mic all night

I don't know wtf happened to Evan, but he's not the same person he used to be a few years ago it seems like.

I've always thought Evan was a pretty boring performer. I may have seen TT 10 times in the last 8 or so years, and in at least half he started the show like a stick figure - standing still and showing very little emotion. Usually he loosens up some, but I don't ever remember him being a very energetic live performer.
I'm not looking at them right now but I'm pretty sure there are a bunch of YouTube live performances where he's practically motionless.

Miranda must’ve laid a number on him. Crazy tang is usually the best tang. Unfortunately it can ruin your life, too.

I echo this...We saw them twice last year and both times when they started, i thought...oh lord, this is about to be a trainwreck...but after a couple songs, he loosened up and they put on a good show.
