Ryan Adams & The Cardinals release new single and announce tour

Not the original lineup for obvious reasons. The single is called Dreams of the Working Class. It’s on Spotify, the music sounded decent but Ryan insists on singing in that fricking awful falsetto voice…like dude…fricking sing like you mean it and we know you can. At any rate, awesome band and I think a lot of people have been hoping for a cardinals reunion for a while so curious to see how much traction it gets since his obvious downfall

Just bought tickets for Charlotte. Hopefully he’s not burned out 6 shows in.

I looked up the members of this current version of The Cardinals. The drummer was a Cardinal. The other members have been long time friends and have been on his previous studio albums. Makes me feel better that this isn’t just a hired band that doesn’t know Ryan.

agree that was annoying. He put out two albums last year and two this year under his name without doing that so maybe it's a Cardinals thing. He needs to put out fewer albums and focus on quality over quantity.

They were a great. Ryan Adams wrote some masterpieces back then. That band was perfect at their peak.

annoyed they aren't stopping in Houston. May have to find my way to San Antonio, Austin, or NOLA. Was listening to some songs Cardinology and Cold roses today.
A bit worried this album will be awful if thus is the first single. Not my cup of tea, without getting into the falsetto voice. It works in small doses in songs, but not as the whole song. But nevertheless, it's a pretty bad song.

This song has been floating around for years. I think it goes back to Heartbreaker days with a different name.
