I think there are parts folks are gonna expect, but I wouldn’t expect her to try and be a robot and just play it exactly beat for beat.

I do wish them well, and while I’m cool with what they are doing, I just don’t care to go see it. If you gave me some free tickets I might go.

I don’t think they have plans for such, but I at first thought if they tried doing new songs with new drummer I wouldn’t want that at all. But, the more I think about it, I think that would actually be a lot more interesting than this tour.

I have to say Anika nailed it.

I agree and think of all the pressure and shoes she's trying to fill. I watched the youtube show where's it's just focused on her. She's solid. Go listen to that La Villa. That's a tall order. I think Tom Sawyer might be the only deviation but the band even altered it a bit.

Bought my tickets the day they went on sale. Have great seats, but wish I would have gotten a couple of extra ones. Not selling as no way am I missing this, but they’re going for 5X + what I paid, > $2k now.

The choice of her is brilliant. No man, however good, would have been accepted by Rush fans. Now, she is a great drummer, but as long as she is great "for a girl drummer", any criticism will be relatively blunted.

I mean, at a certain point, the choice is this version of Rush (and I think Geddy sounds fine - certainly as good as he has since the HoF performance) or tribute bands.

I was a kid and the perfect age for the Permanent Waves/Moving Pictures/Signals/Grace Under Pressure era. Rush was a great live band and I just never got to experience it then or even later. But some folks are going to get one last experience with Alex and Geddy and that's a good thing.

I went to the 3rd show last night, they played Moving Pictures in its entirety to open the 2nd set. Really great show. Geddy’s voice not what it used to be but who’s is at 72? Anika Nilles was impressive, incredibly talented excellent choice to play Neil’s part.
