Rush announces Sphere dates

Tickets go on presale tomorrow on their website for dates in May at the Sphere. Only 5 shows. Cask out your 401K, worth it. I’m seeing them Saturday in Ft. Lauderdale.

Why only five shows? They could own that place and not have to travel.

Supply and demand. Low supply of five shows = charge whatever you want. Then add another ten = charge a giant fee; then add another ten = charge another big fee. Smart marketing.

They are heading to Europe to continue the tour. They probably had to squeeze in and could only do 5. They may come back if it goes well. Could just be testing the market.

Most bands start with a small Sphere run and then add dates. I’m sure they will add if it’s successful and they all stay healthy.
